INTRODUCTION
1. Faith
a) It was not easy to come by
b) It was even harder to cultivate it
2. The lack of Faith

THE SAME SPIRIT OF FAITH
And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written,
“I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak, 2 Corinthians 4:13
1. People who possessed great faith
a) Abraham
b) Moses
c) The prophets of old
2. The Apostles
a) They also possessed great faith
b) Their faith was clear and obvious
i) Seen in the life they led
ii) Seen in the works they did
iii) Seen in the suffering they endured
iv) Seen in the way they lived and died for the Lord
3. Objective Faith
a) All believers have the same faith
b) This is with reference to Contents of Faith
c) This is called “objective faith”
4. Subjective Faith
a) This is the reference to “the spirit of faith”
b) What are some characteristics?
i) Boldness
ii) Strength
iii) Courage
iv) Hope
c) These are seen easily in the life of the Prophets and the Apostle
5. How did they cultivate their spirit of faith?
a) Their Faith was built on the Scriptures
b) These men of faith had deep knowledge of the Lord’s word
c) They believed in the Lord
i) His word
ii) His promises
iii) Faith in God’s word
iv) Built their life on God’s word
A VIBRANT HOPE
14 knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many,
may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 4:14-15
1. Knowledge of God and His power
a) He raised the Lord Jesus from the dead
b) He will also raise us up in the day of resurrection
2. Knowledge of God’s grace
a) The grace of God is found in the Lord Jesus
b) It lies beneath the salvation offered to mankind through faith
3. The spread of God’s grace
a) Through the word proclaimed
b) Through evangelism
c) Through our life
GLORIOUS RESULTS
1. Thanksgiving to God
a) For His grace
b) For salvation
c) For blessings
2. The glory of God
a) This is manifested in the Lord Jesus Christ
b) It is reflected in our life
c) It is further seen in our deeds
