God begets us in the power of the Spirit anew
Then, the journey of faith in the Lord, we begin
There is no turning back to whatever is of the flesh
There is every reason to fall back on the Spirit instead

God supplies the Spirit to us who are obedient
We are filled with the Spirit in consequence
The Spirit of God is at work in us ceaselessly
We, then, are enabled to serve the Lord fruitfully

The Spirit has poured out God’s love to us in grace
We, therefore, are to love God and God’s in return
There is no mistaking about the Spirit indwelling
Love is the visible sign of the Spirit empowering

The cries of the people of God reached heavens
God, thus, stooped down to come to their rescue
Finally, they were set free to serve the Lord their God
Distinctly, the people of Israel had stood out, since then

Out of the burning bush, God called Moses
He then was hesitant to heed the call at first
He, however, saw himself speaking with the Lord Yahweh
Moses, since then, had sought to serve God in His own terms

Moses a man of God prayed in faith and humility
He learned more of God as he interceded in earnest
God was always gracious to him, and let him obtain His favor
God did speak to Moses in person, when he asked in prayer

Moses truly was a legendary leader God had molded
The works he had done speak of his faith in volumes
No one like Moses led God’s people by revelations
For the Lord spoke to no one like Moses in high honor

God sought a man after His own heart
David was that man God was looking for
And He had chosen him as a king for Himself

The Lord was with David through His Spirit
He was always with him till the end
And that was what David pleaded in prayer

David was truly led by the Spirit of God
He was bold and courageous for the LORD
Yet, he was wise and prudent in all his ways

David was a special son and servant of the LORD
He regarded himself as a mere slave before God
Yet, he sought to relate to God as Abba his Father!

I was wandering in the dark

‘cause I was dead and lost in sins

I was eradicating my ‘self’ in loss

‘cause I couldn’t cease desiring Nirvana

I am now washed and cleansed

As the Spirit of God begets me from above

I am now found and flourished

As my ‘self’ is home in Imago Dei once again

God has created in me a new heart

As Jesus is welcome to my heart anew

The Holy Ghost gives life to my poor body

So that I may walk on earth with heaven in sight

Never shall I fear evils or foes in this life and beyond

I know Your mercy is new, fresh, and sufficient all the way

Never shall I boast about my walk or my works again

It was, is, and will be, solely through Your mercy I am saved

Wisdom that enriches life is everywhere
Let one who lives seek it anywhere

Who is entitled to wisdom so special?
To him who asks God for it in prayer

Christ alone is God’s wisdom in person
Let’s take heed to Jesus’ calling in action

Pastor-teachers are bearers of the Light
Let us seek wisdom from them in the Word

God has made it possible for us to believe

Our faith then must be nurtured to grow;

As the Scriptures helps us to come to Jesus

So, let us lose no time to believe in Jesus

God has promised us all that we need

Food and clothes are only what He adds;

As we live under His reign and rule of life

So, worries for morrow are gone and out of life

God has spoken to us in His living Word

Faith comes as, what He says, we truly heed;

As we believe all that the Scriptures teaches,

So, our faith in God will surely come of age

Precious is the faith inherited
From the saints
For that faith, we must defend together,
To the end

Objective is the faith instructed
In the Word
To that faith, we must align ourselves,
in real life

Decisive is how God acts in Christ
For our good
Divine gift of life, we all must accept
In good faith

As a good tree bears good and pleasant fruit
In its time;
So does the faith handed down to us all
In due time

Thessalonians bear good fruit of faith
Obviously
Paul the Apostle calls it ‘work of faith’
So plainly

God looks down from heaven and sees us all
To Him I will look up in the mornings
He will never let me down
This, I will always believe

He listens to me from His throne above
I will seek His face and favor in faith
He will come to our rescue
He is truly our Captain

The LORD does make me strong in grace afresh
As He takes sides with me in the battle
He gives me favor unmerited
I leap for joy He bestows

I will hold, My Shepherd, dear to my heart
You are all that I need now and always
Never shall I fear evils
I know you are there for me

When life seems unfair and the future uncertain
Help and steadfast hope, our God shall truly give
Of this He promises us in all the Scriptures
Let us take them to our hearts seriously

When road gets tough and the going slippery
Strength and stamina, the LORD will surely grant
This, He provides for us through the Holy Spirit
Let us abide by the command constantly

When the hardest hits us; We are at loss what to do
One thing we must ask God is ‘Let Your will be done, O LORD!’
Whatever He wills is good and remains best for us
No matter how we are, ‘Let Your will be done for us, A men!’

Worries overwhelm and doubts arise
When everything seems to slip away;
My prayers will ascend to God afresh
Because I know the LORD does care

Sorrows plunge in and tears drop
When my secret fears shake my hope;
My salvation will descend from Him alone
Because I know the LORD does care

Mercy reigns over and peace prevails
When God arises to attend to my cry;
That day of deliverance is at the door
Because I know the LORD does care

The LORD has a plan for you and me
Let us stop devising ours to thrive
The WORD is given to you and me
Let us start believing it to live

The LORD paves a way for you and me
Down on the road is a future and hope
Only if we dare to follow Him
The LORD shows us His way to you and me
The way ahead is tough and steep
Only for us who walk by faith

The LORD has a thought for you and me
Let us cease wondering with many ‘ifs’
The LORD will lead us in triumph
As we surrender all our ways to Him

The LORD indeed is a great and mighty God
Honoring the LORD as such is s a precept to follow
May we humbly seek to bless the LORD in our praise

We shall rise up to attest to the LORD
That He is the LORD who attends to our prayers offered
May we seek together to bless the LORD in our prayers

We sought the LORD and He heard our cries
He delivered us from all our fears, real and imagined
Let us bless the LORD who acts on behalf of us the poor
